Last year I went through a cancer induced nesting phase.... It included getting rid of my old + first couches purchased when my hubby + I got married. I used to love my aubergine twill comfy couches. We went through many a breastfeeding days together, naps, and HGTV episodes.
But it was time... so I replaced them with white leather. Cold, hard, WHITE leather. But I saw the potential when my husband did not... but he wasn't about to deprive his cancer-ass-kickin'-wife the couches she wanted could he?
Nor the request to paint over the Divine Bordeaux...Hello Behr Creek Bend 790F-4
Here's a peek at my newly painted + arranged living room....
Here's my newly painted living room with some pillows and a few more accessories....
I KNOW!!! What a BIG differencece the lil' things make!
It's truly the lil' hings that make me happy...
Adding the glass coffee table cast-off from my chica Dana, made a HUGE difference in the room... and having her help me arrange the furniture just so, was even bigger.
The clock on the side table makes me smile... even though it doesn't work. #whocares
But truly it's this lil' thing that makes my whole family happy...
Your living room looks amazing. Modern and very sheek but still very cozy...beautiful job. Your ass-kicking attitude was right on the money with the white couch! Here'e too many more memories in your new living room

Thanks Lauren! I smile every time I walk by... it's nice to have one room that doesn't have kid stuff in it or anything that needs to be put away!

Beautiful room, Krista! I've been trying out different wall colors and haven't found the right one. What color did you use?

Your living room looks a lot better than the old one! Congratulations! We also have white couches at home, and we paired them with lively, green-colored walls to match the mood. :p There sure is a lot of difference when you accessorize your living room with pillows and some quilts.
