My clothing castoffs are ready to head over to Diana's for a clothing swap! And these swaps are poppin' up all over- Rushing Water Yoga in Camas, Washington is hosting a monthly swap... but my swap is all about trading w/my girlfriends that are just about the same curvy as I am ;)

CLOSET Organizing tip: Make decisions as you go... keep a shopping bag in your closet to catch all the items that you are ready to cast off. Makes it waaaaaay easier to just grab + go.

It's the little things...

Over at my lifestyle management plan- The Shebang... I send members a weekly "maintain the shebang" email. I spent this week tackling my own piddly widdly items and feel much more in control. Here's what I knocked out...

• set up new on line bill pay w/the checking account I prefer to use!
• scheduled Dr. appointments for: me: wart removal (i know gross and even grosser now that my fingers are bubbling up!) son: pediatric appt. me: mammogram
• dash + donate: sent off cluttercast items + did online www.donorsresource.org
• scheduled playdates for daughter
• had a lil' she-time! coffee with one girlfriend, lunch with another ;)

cluttercasting... Organize in Style style ;)

As many of you know I've been 'cluttercasting' an item each Friday. Truth be told it's hard for me to find something to release into the world that is somewhat valuable + easy to mail [meaning it won't cost an arm + a leg or much more than a Grande Cinnamon Dolce latte].

So far I've cluttercasted the following:

THIS is SO typical of me. Read this lil' didy I wrote titled Postal Procrastination click here and you'll have a much better idea about my 'issue'.

I promise I will mail these items tomorrow!!!! I PROMISE I PROMISE I PROMISE. 

I ALSO know myself well enough that I've got to make a change in my weekly Friday Cluttercasting so that I can stick to my promises and not drive myself bonkers in the process.

SO... tonight I'm going online to www.donorsResource.org to find a 'local' home for a couple of items. 1. the Barbie house 2. a Chair

I will cross my fingers that whomever is the recipient of these items will come + get em'... obviously I have a problem with that and not the clutter itself.

I ALSO plan to adapt 'cluttercasting' to suit my organizing style... so from this point forward my Organize in Style cluttercasting style will include 'clothes swaps' [you won't want to miss the pics of this event!], items I 'regift', donate, drop off, share, and giveaway!
