The Big Blue Barbie Castle- Cluttercast item
I helped my daughter do a lil' Organize in Style. In our house that means mommy busts out her professional organizing whip *oopsy, did I say whip? I meant hat, silly me. We then hyper focus on organizing their room. This week is was all about my daughter's crazy mess. (fyi she's 6 1/2)
Sorry these are "keepers"... No one takes my Madame Alexander Cinderella or 60's Barbie.
I must take some blame for the XL bin of dolls sitting out and the plethora of "new items" that have yet to have a home. You see... a while back I went up to the attic to find my 80's formal gowns for Brandie to borrow. That lead to me finding my childhood toys that daughter is now old enough to play with. And that lead to a room overflowing with stuff.
My daughter was great at letting go, especially when it came to the Disney Princess Dresses + shoes that no longer fit. The saddest part was her saying "too old for these. too old for these. too old for these" as she handed me sunglasses + necklaces :(
As we were working on her room I twittered about it. Immediately I had a home for her cluttercast! In fact Lori, a friend + twitter follower came over and picked up what she thought her daughter would love. My daughter even emulated the sort + purge process with Lori. She would hold up a stuffed animal and wait for Lori to say thanks or no thanks. [me=proud mama] *if you aren't following me on twitter-you may just want to! [ @kristacolvin ]
My daughter was happy that her once-loved items were going to another little girl and I was happy for her to learn a new skill and have her floor look like carpet again! Total WIN-WIN!
The one thing that wasn't taken was the Barbie Castle. It's BIG and I won't be able to ship it. But if you are local and would like it... leave a comment + let's move-it move-it to your home. If that doesn't work I'll go to www.donorsResource.org and find a nice lot for Barbie to land her castle.

I'm trusting you'll keep this for yourself or gift it + I'd love a picture of the item in her new home
Krista I would love that castle---if only I had a Barbie left to live in it. Funny that I didn't save mine from childhood---and YOU saved yours. What's wrong with this picture???
