Ramona Creel of Online Organizing + me
Online Organizing racked up all 3 of their nominations: Best Organizing Website or Blog, Most Valuable Educational Resource, Best Organizing Product Retailer.
Ok... We've come a long way baby- but the trophy went to Online Organizing... and that's ok- we've got a good thing going on girlfriends and I appreciate you all supporting the journey- it was FABULOUS. I've got pics to prove it!
If you haven't a clue what I'm babbling on about... Organize in Style blog (that's where you are now) was a finalist for BEST Organizing website/Blog at the recent Organizing Awards held in Bel Air, California at the Luxe Hotel. I mixed and mingled with the organizing elite. And yes I had on my cute loaner shoes from my girl Diana.
The cute lil' shoes and I had to take a break from one another at the after party...
Here's some more of the action!
Yes this is me with Christopher Knight (you may recognize him as peter brady) AND no I didn't sing the Brady song about time for change... you've got to rearrange! But we did chat about Green Plug one of the sponsors and how my brother knows his buddy (small world stuff).
Recognize this guy... He's Hal Sparks of Queer as Folk, but I love him for Talk Soup- the show he hosted about all the reality show updates. Here's me telling him I should have had his job on Talk Soup or it may have been me telling him about the acceptance speech I didn't get a chance to give. Which by the way went something like "wow, thank you! My lil' blog is all about fabulous meets function. And well, I just can't wait to get my hands on Hal Sparks hair."
He seemed fine with all that... maybe he's a better "tolerator" than Peter Walsh was when I palled up to him last spring (click hereto view my attack of peter walsh). Hal let me know that he grows his hair out whenever he's 'not required' to have is short for a role... he went on the share that he's Native American and then, well, it made it all quite clear to me that he is indeed in touch with his function meets fabulous self ;) Hal was also an INCREDIBLE host- his jokes were FUNNY, not snort cocktail out your nose funny-whew- but he nailed it.
I'd be remiss not to add a few more pics and the Organizing Award List of finalists + recipients.

Don't forget about organizing the garage floor, too. Tiles from RaceDeck, BigFloors, and the like can keep it clean and looking great!
