I worked with a great teacher that used to give all the kids nicknames. When I became his replacement (he moved into a different position) he fondly called me "rookie"... now mind you I had already been teaching for 7 years and really didn't consider myself a rookie teacher! He quickly and quite fondly became the "old fart" and we got along famously. One thing I picked up from the ol fart was to 'name' people and situations.
Recently, I worked with a wonderful woman that has now been dubbed "the women with a closet of good intentions". She joins the ranks of the "cream of tartar" client (every year she thought she may or may not have cream of tartar for holiday baking... so she purchased one just in case), "the bag lady" (totes galore) , "the product whore". OK... to verify that last one... she named herself after realizing she bought way too many hair products and that the sum of the expenditure would probably total airfare to Hawaii!
All of these fabulous women know their nicknames and embrace them with humor and acceptance of their organizing hang-ups.
What's your organizing nickname? I dub you Queen of .......?
Well, I am probably the Queen of Procrastination, but would rather be the Queen of Hospitality. :)

I had to think about this one for awhile. I think I'm The PingPong Princess or "It will just take a second". I just caught myself doing it. My daughter wanted to AquaDoodle and couldn't find her water pen. I went downstairs to look for it. While I was down there, I might as well swap a load of laundry. Oh, and all of these hanging clothes are now dry, they can get folded and/or taken upstairs to be hung. Since now I'll be low on hangers in the laundry room, I'll bring those back downstairs. Oh, and this is now too small for the girl, so it can go to the under house for consignment/donation. Wait, it's winter and that new heater filter is still sitting there. I should change that. Not kidding. Once when I was pregnant, I started to make a sandwich and ended up online planning a patio for my trash/recycling bins. My therapist still reminds me of that one periodically.
