Jayne's studio was so fun to work on. Who wouldn't love to be amongst beautiful fabrics, beads, trims and creative company! Jayne is the creative handbag designer behind . She is also a wonderful mother + wife. Her story brings tears to my eyes and I'm proud to be a part of her life. (Look for her story in a future post) Jayne gave me a ring when she was ready to take her biz to the next level... take a look, I think she's got it going on! Take a look at the BEFORE + AFTER PHOTOS yourself...

Despite pre-parenthood insistence that "I will NEVER have a car DVD!", I wouldn't travel without one. Grandparents are 10 or 17 hours away... in grown-up-no-stops-travel time, considerably longer in traveling-with-a-3-and-a-1-year-old time. We shamelessly turn on the DVD for the 3 year old. She won't die from two days of Dora, and she won't die from one of us throttling her. When her brother is older, he'll get his own DVD player.

The DVD (portable, not built-in) comes out of the car as soon as we arrive at our destination. It does not get used for in-town trips. There are a few days of withdrawal after a long trip, but they pass.
