5 minutes to fabulous... PROMISE

I know this happens to you.... you look around your house + get all pissy. All pissy about the little messes that feel HUGE.  I decided to grab my camera and share with you the piddly things that were driving me crazy but in reality each area took me less than 5 minutes. (ok, except the kitchen sink where I needed to handwash some dishes)

I'll share if you share.... Let me know what's vexing you and how long it REALLY took you to solve the problem. Spill girlfriend.

HUGE time saving tip... and YOU can knock this out in less than 5 minutes- promise.

So... this isn't your mama's kitchen so why do you have it organized like hers? I want you to ponder this then create the solution that works for you.

What is the "thing" you do over and over and over again but could simplify + streamline the process.  

In my case there are 2 things:

1. My son eats Peanut Butter + Honey sandwiches every day. My streamlined solution... place the PB + honey together above the bread box. Voila. No more trips across the kitchen to the pantry for something I USE everyday.

2. Coffee.... After scooping coffee into the pot for the umpteenth thousand time I measured out those scoops and replaced the lil' scoop with a larger full serve-1 timer scoop.

Simple. Streamlined. Solution.

5 Minutes to Fabulous! Socks

This is part of my new series challenging you to take 5 minutes and turn the mundane into something fabulous... to tackle an annoying little task and be done with it!

Socks... Socks, everywhere there's socks... *sing it to the Tesla song Signs,signs, everywhere there's signs*

FIRST of all my magic sock trick is to purchase one brand + one color socks for each member of the family. These pics show my son's sock collection. He has 2 styles... no cuff and low cuff (i know i broke my own rule..so sue me ;0)

 

 

  

    wash. dry. sort into bins.

5 Minutes to Fabulous! The Handbag

I'm starting up a new challenge of my own... Peter Walsh + Oprah are working on a "Clean Up Your Messy House Tour"... and I think that's fabulous.  

However girlfriend...I believe we can take 5 minutes and kick up your already pretty dang organized life and turn it into something fabulous...

This morning I noticed my handbag was a bit piled with paper... ugh paper. Here's is what I accomplished in 5 minutes... Oh.. and I multi-tasked because I was downloading photos to my computer AND cleaning out the paper! Give me a "you go-girl" snap snap or something would you?
