I've powered through Day 1... caffeine saved me. I was surprised at how many "PUT-AWAY" items I had. But it feels good to see clear counter tops and my laundry room again ;)
Here's what our Day 2 looks like~
DASH + DONATE
Set it free sister... Gather up "perfectly good" yet-you-never- use items" + put them in the car destined for a donation center or charity of your choice. If you haven't downloaded the SHE VIP Organizing Signs here they are: Download Organizing_signs_general_use
You will spend the next 3 days making your way through your home... but we'll start here:
TODAY'S SPACES INCLUDE:
-Toys [tell the kids where these toys will go... to a good home, like on Toy Story]
-Media [love it or lose it]
-Kitchen Pantry [expired- toss, no one likes it- donate]
-Medicine Cabinets [expired- toss]
-Linen Closet [you really don't need 4 sets of sheets per bed now do you- that's retorical]
-Hall Closet [doesn't this stuff belong somewhere else or to someone else?]
Here's a few guidelines:
Toss it if it's expired. Create a to-buy list to replace needed items.
If you find yourself saying "Do I really need this?" you probably don't.
If you have more than one of the item, donate the less-loved version.
Love it or Lose it... If I were out shopping would I buy this item? If the answer is no, it's a goner.
p.s. HAPPY NEW YEAR!
p.s.s. 12 years ago today... yes on 12.31.1999 I gave birth to my 1st child... he was 10 days early! Happy Birthday Wes!

Happy birthday, Wes!
